At Heart Warrior Ministries, we believe no family should face a congenital heart defect alone. That's why we are committed to walking alongside them, providing support, assistance and resources during the challenging season of caring for a little one with a heart defect.

We Serve
Individuals and families affected by Congenital Heart Defects by carrying the many burdens that so many face while journeying through life with CHD.

Cillian Bish
Cillian was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and is the inspiration behind Heart Warrior Ministries (HWM).
He ensures HWM stays focused on our mission by continuing to share his story.

Chief Inspirational Officer
Sam Bish
Executive Director
Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Sam is a former USMC Infantryman turned IT Engineer turned dad/full-time caregiver to our Heart Warrior, Cillian.
As Executive Director of HWM, he steers the vision of our ministry and is the main facilitator to The Oasis.
In his spare time, Sam enjoys cheering on the Cleveland Guardians/Browns, playing video games, and spending time on the nearest golf course.
Brynne Bish
Director
Over the years, Brynne has had many careers but none she has favored more than being Cillian’s mom.
She was diagnosed with a progressive neuromuscular disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 3 that has largely contributed to her perspectives around advocacy for SMA and Congenital Heart Disease communities.
Brynne received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health from Johns Hopkins University and her JD and MBA from Case Western Reserve University; and currently works in the pharmaceutical industry.
In her spare time, Brynne enjoys writing, blogging, public speaking, and doing advocacy work for Heart Warrior Ministries with her husband, Sam.
